Jason Schattauer & Haley Herbert
Following their love for the warmer waters of San Diego and passion for fishing is why Jason Schattauer and Haley Herbert, along with their daughter Violet Grace became the owners of the POSEIDON.
Jason a third generation Oregonian, Haley a fourth generation Oregonian and both have lived their lives fishing along the Oregon Coast. Jason has been a very successful Captain out of multiple Oregon Ports.
Jason and Haley are both experienced outdoor sports enthusiasts and successful entrepreneurs, as they own several small businesses. They have also built and managed their Family farm, Violet Meadows in Elmira Oregon. Their inspiration to work hard and enjoy life to its fullest comes from their parents and continues with support from their friends and community.
Ultimately their mission is to guarantee each client that boards The Poseidon the opportunity to experience a first-class fishing charter that includes the best customer service and the highest professionalism. Their goal is that each client leaves with memories of the best fishing adventure with wishes to return. Jason and Haley will strive to beat each client’s expectations on every trip.
Onboard the Poseidon
The Poseidon is a 78' Knight & Carver built in San Diego Ca. She is powered with twin John Deer's that allows her to cruise at 10kts. 2 John Deer generators keep her powered. 800 gallon a day water maker keeps the Poseidon loaded with freshwater. The wheel house has a wrap around portague that allows crew for an unobstructed view of the ocean. Electronics are state of the art with a new Furuno CH500 sonar, Furuno Depth sounder, and Furuno 48 NM radar. Time zero Chartplotter system with weather. Sat Phone, dispatch, and VHF to communicate with the fleet and emergency services. A spacious deck with a large bait capacity that give her plenty of bait to fish 4 day trips. 180 rod holders keep anglers gear secure. 2 Large heads with showers as you enter the galley salon. Galley seating for 28 passengers allows entire groups to eat at the same time. A large galley and refrigeration can store plenty of food for over 8 days. Berthing for 28 anglers in. 2-6 person air conditioned staterooms.

Robyn Yoshihiro
Robyn has been working on fishing boats for practically her whole life. Her dad owned the Thunderbird, has been apart of the crew on the Constitution and Poseidon.
