Jason Schattauer & Haley Herbert
Following their love for the warmer waters of San Diego and passion for fishing is why Jason Schattauer and Haley Herbert, along with their daughter Violet Grace became the owners of the POSEIDON.
Jason a third generation Oregonian, Haley a fourth generation Oregonian and both have lived their lives fishing along the Oregon Coast. Jason has been a very successful Captain out of multiple Oregon Ports.
Jason and Haley are both experienced outdoor sports enthusiasts and successful entrepreneurs, as they own several small businesses. They have also built and managed their Family farm, Violet Meadows in Elmira Oregon. Their inspiration to work hard and enjoy life to its fullest comes from their parents and continues with support from their friends and community.
Ultimately their mission is to guarantee each client that boards The Poseidon the opportunity to experience a first-class fishing charter that includes the best customer service and the highest professionalism. Their goal is that each client leaves with memories of the best fishing adventure with wishes to return. Jason and Haley will strive to beat each client’s expectations on every trip.

The Poseidon is a 70' X 23’ Custom Knight & Carver built right here in San Diego, CA. She is one of a kind. Equipped to accommodate 25 passengers and voyages up to 5 days. The Crew of the Poseidon prides itself on cleanliness, customer service, and professionalism, giving our passengers a safe, clean, and fun experience with comfort.

All meals and snacks are included with ticket pricing. Price does NOT include soda,
beer, terminal tackle, and Mexican permits (if needed), and crew gratuity.

Has been working on commercial and sportboats for over 10+ years and has been the Operator of the Poseidon for three seasons.
2nd Captain
Robyn Yoshihiro
Has worked on sportboats her entire life. Her father owned the Thunderbird and has been apart of the Poseidon crew for four seasons.
